Dear Parents/Guardians,

It is that time of year again when your student(s) will be participating in State Testing! Each student currently in the 3rd – 8th or 11th grade will be testing in multiple subjects. The required tests are as follows:

3rd Grade: OSTP English Language Arts and OSTP Mathematics

4th Grade: OSTP English Language Arts and OSTP Mathematics

5th Grade: OSTP English Language Arts SECTIONS I, II, III, OSTP Mathematics, and OSTP Science

6th Grade: OSTP English Language Arts and OSTP Mathematics

7th Grade: OSTP English Language Arts and OSTP Mathematics

11th Grade: COLLEGE-AND CAREER-READINESS ASSESSMENT (CCRA)

CCRA U.S. History, and CCRA Science,

ACT WITH WRITING

All testing will be completed digitally (online) this year. It is of the upmost importance that your student(s) be present during testing to ensure that we are able to meet federal and state testing guidelines. If your student misses their scheduled test, they will have to make the test up at a later scheduled date, if possible. Students who are currently off-campus will need to be present on campus on the date(s) of testing to complete the testing requirements. Please review the tentative testing schedule on the next page and feel free to contact your student(s)’ teachers or Mrs. Brewer for more information.

If you are interested, you can find information about the OSTP and/or CCRA tests your student(s) will be taking, including practice test questions, at the following website: https://oklahoma.onlinehelp.cognia.org/parent-student-teacher-guides/.  It is highly encouraged that you take time to look over these documents with your student(s) prior to testing. For information regarding the 11th grade ACT test and practice tests, please check out the following website: https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/state-and-district-solutions/act-info-for-examinees.html.   Thank you for working with us to ensure that our state testing is a success this year. We really appreciate your help.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Brewer
